Our Mission

At Columbus Street Hockey, our mission is to make hockey accessible to everyone by removing the barriers that have traditionally kept families from experiencing the game. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to providing a fun, safe, and affordable environment where players of all backgrounds and skill levels can learn, grow, and fall in love with the sport of hockey.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances. That's why we work hard to keep our program's costs as low as possible while providing quality coaching, equipment, and a positive community for every player. Our dream is simple: to put a hockey stick in everyone's hands and grow the game one player, one family, and one community at a time.

Columbus Street Hockey was founded by one Active-Duty U.S. Army Soldier and three retired military members who shared a common vision: to give back to the community that has given so much to us. What started as a passion for hockey and a desire to serve others has grown into a movement dedicated to bringing the sport to the South and creating opportunities for youth who may have never had the chance to play.

More than just teaching hockey, we strive to build confidence, character, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Every practice, every game, and every event is an opportunity to inspire the next generation both on and off the rink.

Together with our players, families, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, we are proving that hockey belongs everywhere, and that the future of the game is brighter when everyone has the chance to play.
